We’re thrilled to announce our 3rd annual Grateful Groove Holiday Concert! Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with amazing musical talents that will warm your heart and lift your spirits as we embrace the joy of Christmas. The planning for this year’s event began months ago. After a successful event last December, Trim Hunger founder Josif Wittnik and singer Rissel of Pegasis put their heads together to make this year’s concert bigger and better than ever. And with that we give you…
THE 2024 GRATEFUL GROOVE LINEUP
Pegasis returns as a fan favorite! If you’ve been to one of their concerts, you know that they have a special way of connecting with their audience. At our Grateful Groove concerts, their songs seem to bring the whole room together. We can’t wait to hear what they bring to the stage this year! We are so grateful for their passion for Trim Hunger’s mission.
Guests from year one will also be thrilled to hear that Steve March-Torme is returning to the stage this year. Steve is a fantastic storysteller, both on and off the stage, and we are so excited to see what he brings to this year’s Grateful Groove! Will it be a soulful ballad, an upbeat number, or both? Whatever the setlist, we know the audience will eat it up!
You can’t have a concert at the beautiful Lawrence University Memorial Chapel, without firing up the magnificent organ. We are so fortunate that Colin Welford will be at the keys this year! Colin has captivated audiences worldwide with his work on Broadway, in film scores, and in symphonic orchestras. Joining Colin, will be powerhouse soprano Cynthia Stiehl. Cyndy is returning to her alma mater as a strong supporter of the Trim Hunger mission.
We are also honored to welcome a young, gifted violinist to this year’s Grateful Groove. Salvador Stein’s mastery of the violin will leave you in awe and wanting more!
