Frank Paul of Neenah won the Showcase Showdown on the Price is Right that aired on April 17, 2025. Frank decided to donate part of his winnings to the mission of fighting hunger in the Fox Valley. He met with Trim Hunger founder Josif Wittnik and they are now challenging others to match him in “Frank’s Showcase Showdown Challenge!”
Here’s Frank’s story and how you can help him reach his goal for Trim Hunger:
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GAME SHOW CONTESTANT
On vacation in December of 2024 to Los Angeles for his husband Ryan’s 30th birthday, Frank decided to get tickets to a taping of the Price is Right. The process of filming the game show came as quite a surprise to them. The day began by lining up at the crack of dawn, going through an interview process, and then waiting with bated breath to hear either of their names called.
Near the end of the show’s taping, they had almost lost hope. Then they finally heard the words they were waiting for. Frank was the last contestant to “Come on Down!” With only one bidding opportunity, Frank successfully managed to guess the closest bid on a toaster prize. Who knew a toaster could be so expensive?! He then won his game and got a chance to spin the Price is Right wheel. (Frank says it is HEAVY!) Spinning a 95 on his first tryF, rank won his chance at the showcase showdown.

At the Showcase Showdown, Frank ended up winning a total price value of over $50,000! Including a brand new pair of bikes, shoes and a 2-week Antarctica cruise. Needless to say, Frank says he felt like the luckiest guy in the world!
FRANK KICKS OFF THE BIDDING WITH…
Frank’s wish is to continue his luck and use this opportunity to partner with Trim Hunger & raise money to help solve hunger in the Fox Valley. Frank and his husband Ryan have started the bidding with a $2,500 personal donation to kick off this campaign. The GOAL is to raise the same amount as Frank won in prizes on the Price is Right! They have challenged their friends, and family and people in the community to make a donation to reach that goal or, better yet, EXCEED it.
